Saying “no thank you” Decline Admission

If you’ve been offered admission to The University of Texas at Austin but have decided that another college or university is a better option for you, you can decline your admission online.

To decline your admission, log in to Status Check and select the “cancellation page” link available in the section titled “Application Credentials.” Simply complete and submit the online form and your offer of admission will be cancelled.

Declining your offer of admission will also cancel your housing application if you have one on file.
