If you've already been admitted to UT Austin for the 2009 summer or fall semester, congratulations! Whether you've decided to attend UT Austin or are still deciding if our campus is the right place for you, we know that you and your parents may have questions. That's why we're inviting you and your family to the Admitted Longhorn Round Up on Saturday, March 7, 2009.
What It's All About

During and after the Admitted Longhorn Round Up, you and your family can:
- Learn what you need to do if you plan to enroll.
- Get answers to burning questions about UT Austin and college life in general.
- Meet representatives from student services like housing and financial aid during the student services marketplace.
- Explore campus and colleges to which you've applied or been admitted.
- Tour on-campus residence halls (Jester Center, San Jacinto, Duren Hall and Kinsolving).
- Practice your Hook 'em, Horns sign while participating in a Texas spirit rally.

- Welcome to Campus and Explore UT (William Powers, Jr., president, UT Austin and Frederick Steiner, Ph.D., dean, School of Architecture)
- Your Next Steps with UT Austin
- 40 Acres 101: Q&A Session with a panel of UT Austin students, academic advisors and professors
- Next Steps Marketplace (representatives available to discuss parking, orientation Office, placement testing, financial aid, Camp Texas and more)

Explore UT: “The Biggest Open House in Texas!” (Campus wide)
The Admitted Longhorn Round Up will be held in historic Gregory Gymnasium located in the heart of the UT Austin campus.
Explore UT Events for Prospective and Incoming Students
While on campus for the Admitted Longhorn Round Up, we encourage you to also participate in the additional activities offered during Explore UT—“the biggest open house in Texas.”
Explore UT is a day-long, campus-wide program filled with fun, free activities for the entire family. Many colleges on campus offers activities, demonstrations, lectures, tours or events that offer attendees a glimpse into what happens behind the walls of the colleges on campus. Several schools and colleges, including Architecture, Communication, Business, Liberal Arts, Education and Engineering, have events designed for prospective and incoming students.
While registration is required for Admitted Longhorn Round Up, there is no registration required for Explore UT. Learn more about Explore UT activities, plan your schedule and locate places to eat while on campus on the Explore UT web site.
