The University of Texas at Austin

You should apply for international undergraduate admission as a transfer student if you meet the following criteria:

  • You are not a U.S. citizen or a permanent resident of the United States.
  • You have any previous postsecondary study (in either a U.S. college or university or a postsecondary institution outside the U.S.)
  • You are interested in seeking a bachelor’s degree.

If you have no previous postsecondary study, you should apply as a first-time college student.

If you have attended the University of Texas at Austin in the past and are interested in returning to your studies, you should apply for readmission as a former UT student.
